Heritage & Craft
The Feather Buti. Three Colours. One Block.
The tall feather buti on this black top is a three-colour block print — red segmented scale markings, white central spine and white leaf base each applied from a separately carved block, layered in precise sequence on jet black cotton. The result is a motif with unusual depth for something so minimal in placement.
The white XO cross-and-circle bottom carries the same craft in a different vocabulary — a single geometric block pressed in crisp white on black, row by disciplined row.
The Making
Carve, Layer, Press, Align
Three separate blocks — one for each colour of the feather buti — each requiring precise registration on jet black cotton where any misalignment is immediately visible.
Separate teak blocks are carved for the red segmented scale markings, the white central spine and the white leaf base — plus a fourth block for the white XO geometric bottom repeat.
Jet black cotton khaddar is stretched flat on a padded printing table with precise registration guides before any ink touches the cloth.
White spine first, red scale markings second, white leaf base third — each colour shade-dried before the next is applied. The XO bottom is stamped separately in white, row by precise row.
All pieces shade-dried then heat-set — permanently bonding white and red inks into the black cotton fibres across the full fabric length.
Wear It Your Way
Pure Black. Quiet Statement. Total Confidence.
The scattered feather buti top is striking without being busy — the jet black ground does most of the work. The white XO geometric bottom adds a graphic, contemporary energy. Both speak the same monochromatic language with a flash of red that ties the whole story together through the dupatta.
Unstitched — tailored to your exact silhouette every time.
The Dupatta
Every Motif. One Drape. Complete.
The upper body carries scattered white XO circle-dot column marks — the same motif as the bottom, bringing unity across the set. A bold white chevron/zigzag stripe band then divides the field — the same stripe as the top selvedge. Below it, a full row of tall red-white feather buti marches across in bold formation — the same feather as the top, now used as a statement border. A final chevron band closes the hem.

Wash & Care
Keep the Black Deep. Keep Every Colour Sharp.
- Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
- Do not soak or scrub printed areas. No bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Dry in shade — sunlight fades black base and dulls red and white inks.
- Iron on low heat from reverse side only. Do not wring harshly.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
