⟐ Fabric is unstitched. Consult your tailor before cutting. Authentic wax batik means natural tonal bleed and crackle lines are inherent — every piece is genuinely one of a kind.

Heritage & Craft
Hexagon Within Hexagon. Wax Holds the Line.
The geometric grid on this top is one of the most demanding batik patterns to execute by hand — layered octagonal frames with wavy double-line borders, small dot clusters and cross motifs, each cell wax-drawn with mathematical precision before dye immersion onto warm mustard cotton.
The soft tonal bleed and fine crackle lines visible across the blush pink areas are the authentic signature of hand-applied wax — proof that no machine touched this fabric.
The Making
Wax, Dye, Crack, Reveal
Precision geometric batik demands a steadier hand than free-form florals — every octagon frame must align with the next across the full fabric width.
Hot wax is applied onto mustard cotton using a tjanting tool and small blocks — tracing each octagonal frame, wavy double-line border, dot cluster and cross motif in a precise repeating grid.
The waxed mustard fabric is submerged in soft blush pink dye — wax resists where the geometric pattern was drawn, preserving the lighter tone within each frame and line.
The bottom fabric is tie-dyed in vertical rust-orange stripe columns, then hand block printed with scattered blush pink floral spray buti across the striped ground.
The top fabric is boiled to remove wax, revealing the full geometric pattern — then heat-set to permanently bond the blush tone into the mustard cotton fibres.

Wear It Your Way
Warm Mustard. Rich Pattern. Effortless Heritage.
Mustard yellow is one of the most flattering and versatile tones in ethnic wear — warm, earthy and easy to style. The dense geometric top brings textural richness, while the striped floral bottom adds a softer, more organic rhythm in the same warm palette.
Perfect for ethnic and fusion wear alike, everyday occasions or festive gatherings. Unstitched — tailored to your exact fit.

The Dupatta
Stripes Above. Geometry Below. One Drape, Every Motif.
The body carries the same rust-orange vertical stripes and scattered blush floral spray buti as the bottom fabric, framed in a blush pink triangle pennant border. Below a stripe divider, a band of the dense octagon hexagon batik from the kurta top appears in full — framed again by pennant triangles, finishing in a solid deeper olive-mustard hem.

Wash & Care
Keep the Mustard Warm. Keep the Pattern Crisp.
- Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
- Do not soak or scrub printed areas. No bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Dry in shade — sunlight fades mustard and dulls the batik pattern.
- Iron on low heat from reverse side only. Do not wring harshly.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
