Heritage & Craft
A Line-Art Elephant. Carved. Pressed. Remembered.
The elephant motif on this top is a study in restraint — a side-profile line-art figure, its body rendered in fine parallel stripes, carved into a single wooden block and pressed in soft grey onto white cotton.
Simple in colour. Rich in meaning. The elephant has walked South Asian textile tradition for centuries — and here it walks again, scattered across pure cotton khaddar.
The Making
Carve, Ink, Press, Repeat
Three separate wooden blocks — one for the elephant top, one for the circle-and-leaf bottom, one for the dupatta — each carved and pressed entirely by hand.
The line-art elephant, the circle-leaf row and the wave border are each carved into separate teak wood blocks — fine chisel work that takes days per design.
White and navy cotton khaddar are washed, stretched flat and secured on padded printing tables before any ink is applied.
Each block is evenly loaded with fabric ink — grey on white for the top, white on navy for the bottom and dupatta — and stamped firmly, one repeat at a time.
Each piece is shade-dried then heat-set — locking the ink permanently into the cotton fibres across all three fabrics.
Wear It Your Way
White Above. Navy Below. Heritage Throughout.
The crisp white elephant top and the deep navy geometric bottom create a contrast that feels rooted and considered — two block print languages in dialogue. The navy dupatta, with its elephant row and wave borders, carries both colours and both motifs into one finishing drape.
Unstitched — tailored to your exact fit by your tailor.
The Dupatta
Circles Above. Elephants Below. Waves Between.
The body carries scattered white XO and circle geometric motifs on deep navy — light, rhythmic and airy. A wave stripe divides the field. Then a bold row of white line-art elephants marches across the border — the same motif as the top, now rendered in reverse on navy. Finished with a second wave border at the hem.

Wash & Care
Keep the White Pure. Keep the Elephants Sharp.
- Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
- Do not soak or scrub printed areas. No bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Dry in shade — sunlight yellows white and fades navy and grey inks.
- Iron on low heat from reverse side only. Do not wring harshly.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
